Chat Facebook cross and delight of the social network for half a billion users: always remains open in the workplace and precious hours door-way, rumor is seamless but is very thin and limited in functionality. Not to mention when it crashes.Chat History Manager is a Firefox add-on for Internet browser that saves and makes available more messages and the history of chat either online or when offline. 'S true, is sometimes a bit' unstable, however, an option so light and functional (as well as free, of course), you can do a little thought.

Can be found on addons.mozilla.org/it/firefox/addon/12338/
For those who want to direct a sort of messenger from the desktop to a more comfortable and to save the histories and conversations automatically or manually, we have good chitchat that you download for free from chitchat.org.uk / english / home /.

The solution is simple, there is an add-on to install the Firefox browser and a chat software that brings the desktop just like a normal Messenger as that of Microsoft.

Facebook Tip: hiding messages published through quizzes and applications

Recently, Facebook has increased the possibility to publish content through applications in the social network itself. This has led to the proliferation of content published through games and quizzes that ultimately almost completely tapezzare our Home's Facebook quiz, often rather "bizarre", even if you only have a few friends that use them.

To try to hide these messages, you can use the button "hide" this side of each published content that allows you to choose to hide all messages from the application date. For those not particularly enterprising friends try their hand in various applications may be sufficient. The number of applications, however, is steadily growing, especially since quizzes can be created by anyone with a few clicks. Unfortunately that is not provided by social networks can hide all the quizzes, but the operation should be repeated for each questionnaire.

Fortunately, a developer has created a script to allow you to instantly hide all messages posted by quizzes and applications.

This script was originally created for Firefox.

Installation in Firefox:

    * Install the extension Greasemonkey , which allows you to run scripts to change the look and interaction of the pages displayed on the browser.(Restart Firefox when prompted)

    * Install the script in question, name dall'enfatico Facebook Purity, clicking on the "Install" at the top right of the page and then confirmed with a click on install.

Obviously this solution, as hidden messages directly from the browser only works on the PC it is installed, regardless of which user you use on Facebook, on whose profile did not implement any change. This is only a visual effect.

Wanting to turn off just click on the icon of Greasemonkey (the stylized face of a monkey) in the lower right window of Firefox (more precisely, in the status bar). If the icon is colored Greasemonkey, and then also installed the script, is active and if it is grayed.

Recently the author has added another interesting feature: the top right of Facebook site, above the space on the notifications, shows the number of messages that are hidden in the current view and a link to show.
